Any I can buy unlocked phone work with any SIM card?
My daughter wants a new cell phone for Christmas and I'm looking on eBay for them, but how I can be sure that the phone works with the SIM card? Are Unlocked phone works with any plan? What what they say is open phones, but phones are made by Cingular or T-Mobile, for instance, work with the professional Cellon?
If you have SIM card and phone is unlocked GSM so they're good. But remember, unlocked phones are not the same functionality as locked phones. I just bought a Nokia 8801 on Amazon. the phone is great, except I can not send picture messages and can not get on the Internet. I know just call customer service, can send phone settings, but it is a concern unless you have T-Mobile. They are the customer service is just that good.
